At Transfiguration of Christ Greek Orthodox Church, Project SAM is a ministry dedicated to welcoming individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families into the full life of the Church. Through worship, fellowship, and community, we strive to ensure that everyone feels seen, valued, and embraced as a beloved child of God.

The Story of project sam
In Loving Memory of Samantha Eliades
Project SAM (Special Abilities Ministry) was established in loving memory of Samantha “Sam” Eliades (1989–2023). Inspired by her life and deep love for the Orthodox faith, the ministry seeks to ensure that individuals with special abilities and their families feel welcomed, supported, and fully included in the life of the Church.
